The New "Contractor Sling"

After a BUNCH of custom requests for slings I have simplified a sling and it's hardware to one simple strap with
NO moving parts. Solid brass buckles that are damn near "Marine Proof". This has been dubbed the "Contractor Sling" as
it has been being sent to the various PMC's that are working in the Sand Box.

Other folks call it the "AK sling" because that's what it normally gets mounted on (that and '60s, 240's,249's, RPGs, etc etc)

What it is:

One oversized (60-72" in length) slice of leather that is perf'd with holes at 1" intervals. On each end is a solid brass buckle with no moving parts.
I make this sling "dry" with no oils/coatings

It is designed to be painted/coated In-Theatre. The normal 'box applied coating  is with Coyote Tan spray paint but I have seen them in brown, OD Green, Camo'd and also natural.

I can make this in black if needed, just ask (it's what I use for my duty Colt 6920).

Price on these is approx $35-65 depending on Quantity/Width/Finish. Currently I have a few overstocked in 1" and 1.25".

 Designated Marksman Sling, Combat Proven!

"Ching Sling for your precision shots"

The lineage of this goes back to two slings, the "contractor sling" that I sell, a 1.25" extra long sling with
heavy duty hardware and the Ching Sling, a 3 Point sling that acts as a shooting aid in the field. (fast loop up/rock solid support)

Mounted on my Colt 6920 is a Black Designated Marksman Sling, attached with Daniel Defense Sling attachment
points it is ROCK solid on the gun and is easy to shoot and carry. Attachment points for the first batch of slings (shown)
are with screws (LOCITE after install!) and solid brass buckles with NO moving parts. All straps are perforated for adjustment

This sling is also available in plain/unfinished to be finished in country with whatever you use. (the preferred Contractor/Marine method has been Coyote Tan paint over the brass buckles and straps.

Upgrades in the future are: Dura Coat the brass hardware in black or tan. (in process, working on this as we speak, NOT finalized 12/07)

This is a SUPERB sling for the M1A (photos inbound).

Email direct for ordering info, Price is $75 for the natural, $95 for the black.

Natural in stock and ready to ship.
