Andy's FAQ's

Do you have slings in stock?
Yes, while normally I make many to order, sometimes I get ahead and have a few straps made. I currently have brown and black 1" ready to ship. I have many many 1.25 inch black cut that I need to dye and assemble, this can take a day or three, not much more.

Why does it take so long for my order?
I check snail mail once a week, orders get prioritized as I get them, I then deposit your check, wait for funds (been burned, sorry) I then start on your sling and send it when done.

If you have a deployment, class or hunt upcoming SOON, contact me asap about this PLEASE TELL ME, this is important!

I take Paypal for CC orders, this is FAST for me and for you. If you use another online payment method, please tell me, I would be glad to both use it and promote it. FYI: People normally don't wait for more than a week for their order to ship in MOST cases.

Can you make me a wicked-cool-neato-special-ops-commando-recon-seal-ranger-delta-ninja tactical sling with 3200 buckles, straps, velcro, attachments and sliders?
Uh....why?  (look for my Designated Marksman sling in leather, available NOW!)

Can you make me a Nylon Sling?
Go here, get some nylon http://tnwebbing.com/  make it yourself for PENNIES!

Have you  designed your own sling idea?
I can make it! In leather or synthetic, draw what you want, email it or snail mail it. If needed I can send material for you with attachments and such to make your own. Just ask.

Do you do anything else besides slings?
Holsters, Mag Pouches (mostly 1911). I can also fix harnesses, leather items, pretty much anything that is leather or sewing related is in my realm. I take on weird projects. Horsey folks are welcome to get tack fixed etc. Just ask!

Are you a cop?
Yes.

Can you send stuff overseas?
Yes, tell me where, APO/address etc.

Will you take trades for slings?
Yes, whatcha got? My most common trades are for weird holsters (1911) and other gear. I have an outstanding swap deal for Active Duty military for Gear etc. Contact me if needed. I also have slung complete rifle collections in swap for neglected, lesser used firearms and ammo.

Why would I pay so much for your sling instead of getting one for $12 at Wal-Mart?
The old sayings go:

I use VERY nice leather in my slings, in fact I use a  fine bridle leather from a high end tanner. I am the only craftsman in my shop so you get MY product, not a factory sling made by some nameless slave-like 3rd world person who could care less about your rifle, hunt or Op.

My QC process is extensive, I toss many slings that are not usable due to leather imperfections. (note, leather always has some "character", I judge what will weaken a sling and put it in the trash)

How long have you been making the Ching Sling (and slings in general)?
15++ years.  I make them from a pattern of the first Ching Sling maker Bruce Nelson.
